Why PPGI Prices Differ for the Same Thickness and Color?
PPGI.LTD explains why PPGI prices differ even when the visible thickness and color look the same. The full cost changes with the thickness basis, steel grade, metallic coating, paint system, dimensions, packing, order scope, and trade terms. Compare quotations only after these fields use the same basis.

Why PPGI Prices Differ After the Visible Specs Match
The visible surface is only one part of the product. A quotation may use BMT or TCT. It may also allow a different tolerance, steel grade, gloss, or surface finish.
Which Specification Fields Change the Price?
The metal substrate and coating layers work as one product system. Compare the fields below before judging the price.
Steel Basis
Confirm BMT or TCT, tolerance, and grade. A small difference can change the material basis of the quote.
Coating System
Confirm zinc coating, primer, topcoat, back coat, gloss, and paint film. The same RAL color can still use a different coating system.
Coil Format
Confirm width, coil ID, coil weight, and quantity. These fields affect production planning and handling.
Supply Scope
Confirm packing, inspection, documents, and Incoterms. A material-only price is not the same as a delivered price.

How to Compare Two PPGI Quotations Fairly
Normalize every field before selecting the lower price. Mark any missing item for written confirmation.
Use the paint coating guide, coating-layer guide, and custom width guide to close the missing fields.
