PPGI.LTD uses three checks before ordering wood grain steel. First, send your target wood-grain photo. We check it against the fixed patterns on our existing physical printing rollers. Next, choose the surface finish. Then, confirm the basic steel specifications.
01Start with Your Wood-Grain Pattern Photo
Send a clear photo of the wood-grain pattern you want. We compare it with the fixed patterns on our existing physical printing rollers. We then look for the same pattern or a suitable similar pattern.
02Choose the Wood-Grain Surface Finish
The pattern and the finish are two separate choices. The same pattern may work with different wood-grain surface effects. We confirm the final combination with the actual product.
Ordinary Wood Grain
Smooth printed surface. The printed wood pattern is the main visual effect.
3D Textured Wood Grain
Visible and tactile texture. The surface adds depth to the wood grain.
Matt Finish Wood Grain
Low reflection. The surface gives the wood grain a softer look.
High Gloss Wood Grain
Stronger reflection. The surface looks brighter and more polished.
03Confirm Specifications Before Ordering Wood Grain Steel
Before ordering wood grain steel, confirm these specifications after the pattern and finish. The metal substrate and coating layers should be treated as one supply specification.

Can Wood-Grain Steel Be Supplied in Both PPGI and PPGL?
Yes. Wood-grain steel can use a PPGI or PPGL substrate. Confirm the substrate with the other basic steel specifications.
Is Protective Film Available for Wood-Grain Steel?
Protective film can be available for selected wood-grain finishes. It is not the default for every order. Confirm it with the surface finish and supply form before production.
