How Does PPGI.LTD Keep PPGI Colors Consistent?
PPGI.LTD uses a 5-step control process to maintain PPGI color consistency. We confirm the color reference. We compare a sample. We approve the paint requirements. We check the first output. We keep checking during production.

Our 5-Step PPGI Color Control Process
The approved color reference guides all five steps.
01 Confirm the Color Reference
Start with one clear color reference.
- Use a physical sample first. It gives both sides the same target.
- No physical sample? Confirm a RAL color number before sample preparation.
- Use the number and color name. RAL recommends both to reduce confusion.
- Need more color options? See our custom PPGI colors and RAL matching options.

02 Prepare and Compare a Color Sample
Make and compare one small color sample.
- Make the sample. PPGI.LTD uses the agreed color reference.
- Compare the sample. Use the physical sample or agreed RAL number.
- Confirm the result. Do this before paint is prepared for the order.
03 Confirm the Paint Requirements
Confirm the paint requirements before bulk production.
- Check the main items. Check color, gloss, paint film thickness, and surface finish.
- Approve the requirements. Then PPGI.LTD prepares the paint for the order.

04 Check the First Production Output
Check the first finished output.
- Start the coating line. PPGI.LTD checks the first finished output.
- Use the approved reference. Compare the first output before full production continues.

05 Adjust and Monitor During Production
Adjust the color and keep checking it.
- Adjust any difference. Change the line as needed.
- Compare the result again. Use the approved sample.
- Continue production. First confirm that the result meets the agreed target.
- Repeat the check. This supports PPGI color consistency during production.
Buyer Concern & FAQ
Is a Physical Color Sample Better Than a RAL Color Number?
Yes. A physical sample gives a direct color target. It is the best choice for an existing product. Without a sample, confirm a RAL number and the gloss first.
Can Gloss Affect How the Same PPGI Color Looks?
Yes. Gloss changes light reflection. The same color can look different at another gloss level. Confirm color and gloss together.
Can PPGI Color Be Absolutely Identical in Every Situation?
No. The goal is a close and stable match to the approved reference. Light, viewing angle, gloss, and production changes can affect the look. PPGI.LTD does not promise an exact match in every situation.
Does the Same Color Control Process Apply to PPGL Coils?
Yes. PPGI and PPGL can use the same color-coating line. The same five-step process applies. The order must name PPGL as the material.
