For regular PE-coated material, PPGI coil MOQ requirements start with a 25-ton order. A 20-foot container commonly carries about 25–28 tons of steel coils. Coil positions and weight must be balanced to avoid an uneven load. The shipper must also provide the verified gross mass before loading under the IMO SOLAS VGM requirement. Width

For a common 1000 mm or 1200 mm width, PPGI.LTD can usually combine two to four thicknesses in one container.

Another width needs custom raw material. One mother coil is about 22 tons, so a custom-width order is normally about 25 tons for one width and one color. See the custom steel coil width guide.

Color

One color per container is preferred. If two colors are needed, PPGI.LTD can discuss the mix.

Zinc Coating and Paint

A regular order uses a PE paint system and a normal zinc coating mass of 20 g/m² or 40 g/m².

The same basic MOQ and width logic applies to regular color-coated, wood-grain, and printed PPGI.

PPGI coil MOQ requirements rise when the zinc coating mass is custom. For example, a 100 g/m² coating usually starts at 100 tons. Different thicknesses can be combined when the width is the same, but the thicknesses must be closely grouped. PPGI.LTD confirms the final combination case by case.

Do not apply the 100-ton figure to every order. It is for a custom zinc coating amount. Regular PE-coated PPGI with a normal 20 g/m² or 40 g/m² zinc coating mass keeps the 25-ton MOQ.
